  TEXAS WEEK WITH RICK CASEY

For 15 years the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio has helped pioneer a movement toward using literature to train doctors, especially in the areas of ethics and empathy.

Hear from a San Antonio physician, an author himself, who has taught the medical school's course on "Medicine through Literature" for years. Also joining us will be the author of a book that is used in that course, Marine veteran Phil Klay. His book "Redeployment" has been heralded as the best work of literature to come out of our wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

TEXAS WEEK WITH RICK CASEY airs every Friday at 8 p.m. and every Sunday at 1 p.m. on KLRN.

TOMORROW at 8:30 PM
